New Educational Materials Available Online at No Charge
As the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, Ecolab is dedicated to promoting water stewardship and hygiene habits that help keep people healthy. Today, we’re excited to share updates from our partnership with the Project WET Foundation, a nonprofit water resources education organization we collaborate with to reach a very important audience in our efforts: young people. After all, instilling effective practices now will lead to lasting improvement for the future.
Two new publications join the Clean and Conserve Education Program, available for free download at www.projectwet.org/cleanandconserve:
“The materials in the Clean and Conserve Education Program are engaging and informative,” said Kris Taylor, vice president of Ecolab Community Relations. “I encourage all educators including teachers, parents, grandparents and more to use these free resources because we know teaching our youth about water conservation and healthy hygiene habits will positively impact their lives and our communities.”
Ecolab partnered with Project WET to publish these final two English-language publications of the Clean and Conserve Education Program, designed to teach young people about the importance of water conservation and hygiene. The interactive curriculum is expected to reach two million people by the end of 2017 and is available for download at no charge.
The curriculum is currently being customized and translated for use in China and Mexico later in 2015 and a version for Germany is planned for 2016. Translated digital versions of the Activity Guide for Educators also will be available in French and Portuguese.
The partnership with the Project WET Foundation is part of Ecolab's Solutions for Life program, which enhances the company’s work to conserve water and improve hygiene around the world through partnerships with leading NGOs, global philanthropy and employee volunteerism.
